Interview with financial expert and author, Matthew Kidman
Grant Butler Posted on
June 4, 2012 Matthew Kidman is one of Australia's top financial writers, as a journalist with The Sydney Morning Herald and the author of the new, high-selling book Bulls, Bears and Croupier (Wiley 2012). He's also someone who has put his time and money where his mouth is, having been CEO of the successful fund management firm Wilson Asset Management.
In this 12-minute interview, I ask Matthew about how he wrote his book, what it's like for experts to weave themselves into their writing and plenty more. He gives wonderfully candid responses, including discussing the marital stress that can come from writing a 110,000-word book in three months while finishing a day job and the trials and tribulations of working with editors, plus sound advice on thought leadership.
